Under new ownership since August 2021, the inn has undergone historic renovations showcasing the exquisite doors and windows, trim and crown moldings, hardwood floors, curved banister and wide hallways of a bygone era. The building dates back to 1868 and was established as the Thomas Shepherd Inn in 1984 by Ed and Carol Ringoot and has served as charming Shepherdstown WV lodging ever since.
