Under new ownership, the inn has undergone historic renovations showcasing the exquisite doors and windows, trim and crown moldings, hardwood floors, curved banister and wide hallways of a bygone era.

The building dates back to 1868 and was established as the Thomas Shepherd Inn in 1984 by local residents, Ed and Carol Ringoot. The Inn has served the area as a charming Shepherdstown WV lodging ever since. This lovely home is a graceful and timeless beauty, with a peaceful aura all its own.
